Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the Internet.

My name is Carsten (with a last name that is completely unpronounceable to anyone outside of Scandinavia) and I live in the middle of Denmark in a town called Odense with my wonderful wife and her son. I was born around 1979, which means that I’m somewhere in my late thirties.

I’m a hedonistic geek with a passion for computers, programming, networks, gadgets and every other aspect of IT. Besides that I’m addicted to food and enjoy cooking (and eating of course) as much as possible.

To make a living I work for the TDC, which is the largest telecommunications company in Denmark. I starting working for TDC in 1998 and I have worked with various PBX related technologies since then. I used to work mostly with the Linux-based Mitel MX-One PBX, which have give me an extensive knowledge about Linux. After that I moved on to working mostly with Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business and now I’m working solely with Genesys contact center software and I’m the Tecnical Lead for PureCloud in our organization.

This blog is mostly about technology, but occasionally I might write about something else that interests me. I hope that you enjoy your stay here and you’re more than welcome to contact me if you would like. You can email me at (this is my public key if you would like to use encryption), use the contact form on this page or look me up on various social networks (links are in the sidebar).
